1:1 NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY MENTORING
Do you want to become a Newborn Photographer or are you already a photographer but want to elevate your work?
Newborn photography is a very specific genre of photography which requires knowledge, experience and patience.
In person mentoring is the best way to learn and improve your skills.
This is a full day of mentoring in my studio one on one with two newborn models.
We go through my typical newborn session in my studio, where I show you my workflow, how I achieve each pose, wrapped in props and beanbag poses. I will show you how to safely pose, how to achieve perfect studio
lighting and all the little details that will improve your posing.
I show a very brief post processing demo of how I edit my images but the workshop is mostly focused on shooting.
The following will be covered during the workshop:
- Setting up props and styling
- Newborn posing, props and beanbag.
- Soothing techniques
- Studio lighting and camera settings
- Camera angles
- Wrapping
- Workflow for different situations and adapting when you have an unsettled baby
-Short post production demo
Conditions for the workshop:
You must own a DSLR camera and have some basic knowledge of shooting in manual. I recommend a 35mm or a 50mm lens or a 24-70mm that allows a wide aperture of at least f:2.8

You must be located at least 60km from Sligo.
Full day 10am-5pm
A light lunch and snacks are provided
Price: €950
A non-refundable deposit of €300 is required on booking and the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the workshop date.
