Where will my photo session take place? Can you come to my house?
Newborn, Maternity and Baby sessions take place in my studio in Kevinsfort House, Sligo
The studio is a comfortable and welcoming space, it is filled with props, maternity gowns and baby outfits for your sessions.
When is the best time to book my newborn session?
During your pregnancy! Newborns are best photographed between 6 and 16 days new when they are very sleepy and curly to get those cute poses.
As we only have a short time frame it is best to get in touch during your pregnancy to secure an appointment, we can do a provisional booking based on your due date. If baby has alreafy arrived please enquire as I will try my best to fit you in.
When should I book my Baby session?
It is best to book at least a few weeks in advance to make sure you get your preferred date. If you need to book your session on a Saturday please enquire early as I have very limited weekend availability. I have found the best age of all to photograph babies is 6-9 months when they can sit steadily but they are not on the move yet!
Do you do Maternity photos?
Yes you can book a combined Newborn and Maternity package or a Maternity session only.
Maternity portraits are best taken between 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy.
How long will my session last?
Newborn sessions can last up to 3 hours allowing time for feeds and cuddles.
Please allow 1-2 hours for a baby or maternity shoot.
Do you photograph older children and families? Do you also photograph christenings, cake smashes, birthday parties, etc..?
I specialise in Newborns, Maternity and Babies in their first year. These sessions can include photos with immediate family depending on the package chosen. I do also offer a family session for families with older children.
I don't photograph family events such as Christenings or birthdays, all my sessions take place in my studio.
Can my family and friends come with me for my photo session?
Parents and siblings of course! But only immediate family please! It can quickly get crowded in the studio with too many people. Please contact me if you wish to include other family members.
Do I need to bring props to my session?
No, I have everything we need at the studio for baby.
Just a nice outfit for siblings and parents. When you book with me I will send you an information sheet with ideas on what to wear and what to bring
so you can prepare for your session.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes absolutely! Please contact me for more info.
When will I see my photos?
For Newborn sessions a private gallery will be ready for you to view within 2 weeks.
Once you have selected your photos please allow a 2-4 weeks to receive your products (time depends on products chosen)
USB only packages will be sent within 2-3 weeks from final payment.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes a booking fee is required to secure your session time.
The remaining balance will be payable 2 days before your session or when you select your products for newborn sessions.
No products will be ordered before payment is finalised.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I am fully insured with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
