Christmas Minis are coming up soon and if you have booked a spot you may have a few questions about your session.
I have written this blog post to share a little information that might be useful!
WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS TAKING PLACE? HOW DO I GET THERE?
Christmas Minis will take place in my studio in Kevinsfort House, Sligo.
Please enter Kevinsfort estate, follow signs for Kevinsfort House, then Bell yard. Kevinsfort House is a big Manor house you can't miss it!
You can park at the front of the house. Please enter through the main door, once inside the studio is the second door on your right.
Please make sure you are on time for your session as these short sessions are booked back to back over only two days. If you arrive late this will shorten the time we have to capture your beautiful photos.
WHAT IS THE DECOR LIKE AND WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
This year I will have two decors, both can be used during your session for your children's portraits. For family portraits we will only be using the winter wonderland due to the size of the decors.
You can choose to bring two different outfits for your little ones, one to fit each decor or simply one single outfit that you think will suit both, that is entirely up to you!
If you choose Christmas themed outfits I would recommend keeping patterns subtle and avoiding any big images or logos.
Lovely cosy knitted jumpers or rompers for babies work really well too, or pretty little party dresses for girls.
You can check this little inspiration board of children's clothing that I created with a few cute finds in both cream and red colours!
Of course you are in no way limited to these colours, this is just ideas of what can suit the decors.
WHAT IF WE BOOKED A FAMILY SESSION ?
For Family portraits as we will be using the Winter Wonderland theme I would recommend soft neutrals and pastel colours but you can also make it more Christmassy if you prefer :)
I hope you found this helpful, if you have any questions before your session please don't hesitate to contact me!
I look forward to meeting all of you and create some magical Christmas photos!
See you then!
